  • Aug 20 – West Bank Open Mic in Minneapolis, MN

    The West Bank Open Mic on August 20, 2015 went great and is growing across the river on both sides. Young people from all over the Twin Cities are taking the mic and performing and expressing whatever they want. This night there were close to 60 people attending.

  • Aug. 21 – Candle Light Vigil in Durango, Colorado for George Jackson and Black August

    Durango Save the Kids on August 21 at the peace garden at Fort Lewis College, organized a vigil for George Jackson and Black August and made banners and wrote letters to prisoners from 9pm to 11pm.

    Miami Save the Kids with Monalisa is heading up Probation Station to give voice to youth to discuss the school to prison pipeline and social justice and injustices.

  • Miami STK protest the School to Prison Pipeline and for Sandra Bland Aug 8, 2015

    On August 8, 2015 in Miami Save the Kids Miami co-organized a march for Sandra Bland and against racism and the school to prison pipeline. Close to hundred people attended this event, that included chanting, Hip Hop, and presentations.
