    Raise the Age New York campaign is about juveniles being charged and convicted until the age of 18, instead of 16, which it is currently. The current result is 16 year olds being convicted, sentenced, and imprisoned as adults. Buffalo Save the Kids organized recently a rally to raise the age to 18.

    The Buffalo, NY Fred Hampton Remembrance Event and Die-In was excellent led by people of color and youth of color. The die-in was wonderful and empowered many youth. The key in this and all events Save the Kids organizes for the liberation of people of color is that they are led by people of color.
