Too often kids get caught in the system and are never told their rights. Instead they are told to sign this and sign that and without a blink of an eye they are looking at a year in jail. Too often police without any adults around question these youth, scared to death not knowledgable if they have any rights at all. Telling on other kids or not telling the truth because they a fearful of gang violence, they end up behind bars.
