Books Through Bars

Books Through Bars: The SUNY Cortland Criminology Club has partnered up with Save the Kids to have a Winter Book Drive for Incarcerated Youth at Hillbrook Youth Detention Center. We believe that education is the fundemental tool in positive social transformation. Without good quality schools, after school programs, and people at home assisting in homework, success and peace is almost impossible. Please support this effort that will aid to positive growth for individual youth and a safer community. Youth when locked in their room in the even regularly at Hillbrook read a book a night.
