Volunteering/Interships
Volunteers are the heart of this STK project. We hope to employ an administrator and a lead instructor in the future, but in the meantime we are fully a volunteer based organization. While we are eager to have volunteers, they must write a personal statement between between 500 to 1,000 words on who they are and why they would be interested in Save the Kids. Please send your resume with three references as well. All volunteers must be professional, have a full commitment to nonviolence, above 18 years old, and love working with kids. All volunteers are required to have a criminal background check performed by Hillbrook Youth Detention Center. Please send personal statement, resume, references, and any other questions or comments to: Anthony J. Nocella, II professor, Le Moyne Collge and SUNY Cortland – anthony.nocella@cortland.edu or nocellaj@lemoyne.edu
