Twin Cities Hip Hop Activism Roundtable Discussion

On December 28, 2014 from 12pm to 2pm at Augsburg College, Twin Cities Save the Kids reserved a room to host a roundtable discussion on the history, theory, elements, practices, and examples of Hip Hop activism. The meeting also discussed the logistics of the 1st Annual International Hip Hop Activism Conference that is planned for February 21, 2015 at Augsburg College, Minneapolis, MN, USA, from 9am to 5pm. The event also took pictures boycotting Iggy Azalea. The group took pictures defending Assata Shakur and Black Lives Matter as well. Every event Save the Kids does we strive to do a number of actions to promote social justice and to make the largest social impact.
