hip hop activism discussionSave the Kids Hip Hop Activism Roudtable Discussion
Sunday December 28, 2014
Christensen Building Basement (near radio station)
12 to 1pm

This discussion is going to be video-taped.

This discussion will speak about the history and current Hip Hop activism Save the Kids engages in.

This discussion will explain the history, definition, strategies, tactics, and examples of Hip Hop activism.

Like all cultures Hip Hop is not dogmatic and there is not one definition of what Hip Hop is. Moreover, Hip Hop and Hip Hop activism is not owned or defined by just one individual. This discussion only strives to discuss the work Save the Kids works on. Further, Save the Kids members all do not agree on what Hip Hop activism is, which is healthy and important to support because diversity builds a culture.
